In-House Handmade Pueblo Leather Strap

Made from premium vegetable tanned leather by the renowned Badalassi Carlo tannery in Italy, the Pueblo leather strap stands out for its natural, slightly rough texture and organic feel. It has a soft, almost velvety surface that feels unique and quickly starts to change with wear.

One of the first things you notice is the smell. It has that rich, earthy leather scent that only comes from traditional tanning methods, something that adds a subtle but very real sense of quality.

The color starts off matte and muted, then gradually deepens as the leather burnishes through daily use. Over time it develops a natural sheen and darker tones, giving each strap its own character and story.

Every strap is cut, stitched, and finished entirely in house at lugpal. The focus is on clean craftsmanship and long term durability.

Designed for Cartier-Style Deployant Clasps

This double-fold variant of the Pueblo leather strap is crafted specifically for Cartier deployant clasps where both ends fold – built precisely to these specifications. The standard length is 115/115 mm, but custom sizing is always available. By providing your wrist measurement or current strap dimensions, we’ll craft a perfectly tailored set.

Handmade to fit Cartier® deployant clasps – a premium alternative for those who value true individuality.

Saddle-Stitched

Each strap is hand-sewn in-house using the traditional saddle-stitch method. Unlike machine stitching, which relies on a single thread, saddle-stitching uses two needles working in opposite directions through every hole, creating a stronger, more durable seam that won’t unravel even if one stitch is cut. This time-honored technique not only ensures longevity but also adds an artisanal touch to every strap.

Hand-Painted

Every edge of the strap is carefully hand-painted, layer by layer (a base coat typically followed by four layers of paint), with sanding between each layer for a smooth, seamless finish. This meticulous process gives the strap its durability, while creating a polished edge that highlights the leather’s natural beauty and reflects true craftsmanship.

Built to Last

Our straps are fully reinforced with Velodon - an ultra-durable, anti-stretch material just 0.2 mm thick. It runs through the entire length of the strap, including the loops at the lug and buckle ends.

Effortless Strap Changes

Each strap comes fitted with pre-installed quick-release spring bars, making strap changes effortless. Just slide the built-in lever to attach or remove the strap in seconds. It’s a simple upgrade that saves time, protects your watch from scratches, and lets you enjoy switching between straps.

Zermatt Lining

Each strap is lined with Zermatt calf leather from the renowned Tanneries Haas in France. Chosen by the world’s finest maisons for its supple touch, comfort, and resistance to moisture, it offers excellent skin compatibility and long-term durability.

Ultimate Protection for Your Watch Straps

Your straps are carefully packed for maximum protection. First, they’re sealed in a breathable cellophane bag to prevent moisture buildup and block dust. Then, they’re placed in a splash proof sleeve, sealed with wax, and finally enclosed in a padded envelope. Safe, secure, and delivered in perfect condition!
