Each material has its own benefits:

Leather: Classic, versatile, and comfortable, but may require more care.

Silicone/Rubber: Water-resistant, comfortable, and good for sports.

Nylon/Fabric: Lightweight, breathable, and typically washable, ideal for casual wear. Less formal.

Metal bracelets: Often waterproof, though heavier and less comfortable than other materials. They may leave marks on surfaces they contact and are prone to scratches over time. Metal bracelets accumulate tiny particles between the links and connecting pins, which will gradually wear down the links. This is especially concerning with gold bracelets, as gold is a softer metal and expensive to replace.
